Hamas Not Terrorists?

 Who is a terrorist? Whatever definition you may have, Hamas has qualified. They have killed over 1,400 innocent Israelis, including children. However, the BBC refuses to refer to Hamas as terrorists; instead, they call them Palestinian militants or fighters. The British Prime Minister and his officials have a problem with this. The Prime Minister has repeatedly stated that Hamas are not militants, but terrorists. He believes it is the responsibility of the national broadcaster to recognize this.

The BBC's position was explained by their World Affairs Editor. They believe it is not their job to tell people who to support or condemn, or determine who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. However, if you kill children or massacre a village, you cannot be considered one of the good guys. Despite this, many groups find it difficult to accept that Hamas is a terrorist organization.
